Terms of Service

Version of October 12, 2026

These terms are between Anash and the shul or organization that signs up for it, and the person who signs up on its behalf. By checking the box when you sign up, or by using Anash, you agree to them for yourself and for your shul, and you confirm that you’re allowed to.

1. Anash is in early access

Anash is beta software. It’s still being built: parts of it may change, stop working, lose information or be taken away, at any time. Keep your own copies of anything that matters to you; don’t rely on Anash as the only place it’s kept.

2. Price

Anash is free during early access. Anash may start charging for it at any time, as a monthly fee, a one-time fee or any other way, and may change its prices at any time, without warning or advance notice. If you don’t want to pay, you can stop using Anash; continuing to use it after a price applies means you accept that price.

3. Anash can access your shul’s Anash account

The people who run Anash can see your shul’s account on Anash, and sign in to its dashboard, to support you, look into problems, keep the service running, and check that these terms are kept. Anything they do there is done in your account.

That access is to your Anash account only. Anash doesn’t sign in to your email, your Google account, your texting account or anything else of yours. Services you connect to Anash (an email sender, texting, Gmail, Claude) are used only to do what your shul’s dashboard asks of them.

4. What you send is your responsibility

You decide what your shul puts into Anash and what it sends. You’re responsible for it, and for having the right to send it to the people you send it to. That includes having each person’s permission to email or text them, honoring requests to stop (an unsubscribe, a reply of STOP), and following the laws that apply to email, text messages and the personal information of your members.

5. Zmanim and times are calculations

Zmanim, davening times, the Jewish calendar and everything worked out from them are calculated, and can be wrong: an address placed in the wrong spot, an opinion set differently from your shul’s, a mistake in the software. Check them before you rely on them, and ask your rav about any halachic question. Anash isn’t responsible for anything done, missed or relied on because of a time, date or calculation it showed or sent.

6. Using Anash properly

Don’t use Anash for anything illegal, for spam, or to harass anyone; don’t try to get into accounts or information that aren’t yours, interfere with the service, or overload it; and don’t resell it, copy it, or use it to build a competing product.

7. Suspending or ending an account

Anash may limit, suspend or close any account, or stop offering the service altogether, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. You can stop using Anash at any time. After an account is closed, Anash may delete its information.

8. Your content, and Anash’s

What your shul puts into Anash stays yours. You let Anash store, process, display and send it as needed to run the service for you.

Anash itself (its software, design, name, logo, page and poster layouts, and the text of this website) is © 2026 Anash, all rights reserved. Using the service doesn’t give you any right to it beyond using the service. Some fonts, icons and software libraries in it belong to others and are used under their own licenses.

9. Other services

Anash works with services run by others (email and text-message senders, Google, mapping and weather services, among others). They have their own terms, and Anash isn’t responsible for them, for what they do, or for their being unavailable.

10. No warranty

Anash is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it will work as expected, be available, be free of errors, keep your information, or be fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, Anash and the people who run it won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, donations, income or goodwill, arising from Anash or these terms, even if told they might happen. As far as the law allows, Anash’s total liability for anything arising from Anash or these terms is limited to what you paid Anash in the twelve months before the claim; during free early access, that is nothing.

12. You’ll cover claims arising from your use

You’ll defend and hold harmless Anash and the people who run it against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from what your shul puts into or sends through Anash, from your use of it, or from your breaking these terms or the law.

13. Changes to these terms

Anash may change these terms at any time. The date at the top says when they last changed. Using Anash after a change means you accept the new terms.
